I get the same problem :( The jump is to high. Have tried for about 30 min but I always die at that exact spot where I am supposed to jump to the exit. I either fall down or jump up into the black bar. It might have to do with key stickyness, my keyboard is pretty old so it might be a millisecond to slow making the jump impossible.

The jump appears to be a bit narrow towards the end, to clear it requires a very quick tap of the jump key
How do you get past level 1? like, I can't do a small jump to not bump head on black bar.
The longer you hold "Jump" the higher you go. You quickly tap the jump button.
I been doing that, but seems it isn't working as intended for me. I wonder if it is something based on my computer settings or not.
